In 2004, Jalopyrama started as a fundraiser for the Providence Center, raising money for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Jalopyrama is a traditional style hot rod and custom car show modeled after shows held inside armories in the 1950s and ‘60s. It is brainchild of Mike Szuba and hosted by the East Coast Hot Rod Preservation Alliance and the Rusty Nuts Hot Rod Group. The Rusty Nuts are the group of car guys who volunteer their time and skills to help assemble this growing show.
Automotive fans will have a chance to marvel at more than 300 hot rods, classics and custom cars when the 16th annual Jalopyrama comes to Easton from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 8th 2021. The show features pre-1963 era invitation-only cars inside the Talbot Community Center, with additional cars set up outside. Along with the cars, there are events and vendors inside and outside the center.
We are proud to support our beneficiaries Mid-Shore Veterans Group, The Benedictine, ARC of Central Chesapeake and Talbot hospice.
