The Jalopyrama is a benefit show for the Providence Center and the Knights of Columbus.
The Providence Center is a non-profit organization that provides employment, vocational, recreational, retirement, medical day care, and transportation services to more than 450 developmentally disabled adults each day. They are headquartered in Arnold, Maryland.
For more information about the services and history of the Providence Center please go to their web site: www.providencecenter.com
The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic fraternal service organization.
Our Lady of the Chesapeake Council, 10881 is our local council.
The Rusty Nuts are the group of car guys who have helped me put this show together since 2004. They volunteer their time and skills to help assemble this traditional style hot rod and custom car show that has become the Jalopyrama Hot Rod Show.
Please be courteous and respectful to all the guys & girls who help us run the show from the Providence Center, the Knights of Columbus, and the Rusty Nuts.
Also please respect the Armory building, and particularly the specialty cars on display inside as well as those outside so that we can continue to have a successful show in 2011 and in the future.
If anyone has a vintage hot rod, custom, or race car that is reminiscent of an original or is THE original car and fits in the type of show that is the Jalopyrama and you would like your car to be considered as an entry for inside the Armory then send photos and request to:
Jalopyrama@verizon.net
If there are any other questions about the show not answered here please email us at the email address above.
Thanks,
Mike Szuba & the Rusty Nuts Hot Rod Group
